Celebrity Chefs to join 2019 Grand Tasting

Burlington Wine & Food is thrilled to announce the addition of three celebrity chefs to our lineup in honor of the 10th anniversary of the event, with live demos scheduled for the Grand Tasting on June 22. The three chefs will join us on the all-new Culinary Stage in the main tent.


Kevin des Chenes, Executive Chef, "Private Chef to the Stars" and author of “Beyond My Chef Coat” has over 20 years in the hospitality industry. He was named "Top Chef" by Las Vegas Food & Wine and is the winner of "Top Celebrity Chef Showdown." He's been a Chef Expert for Gordon Ramsey and appeared as a featured chef on Food Network's "Chef Wanted," "Great Food Truck Race" and "Beat Bobby Flay," as well as The Today Show, the nationally syndicated Better Show, CT Style, Better CT, Fox Morning Show & The Rhode Show. Chef Kevin's creativity in the kitchen & on the screen has not gone unnoticed...he has recently been working with the likes of Kathie Lee & Hoda, Isiah Thomas, Giuliana Rancic, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town.


Michele Ragussis has appeared on numerous TV shows including "Food Network Star," NBC's "Food Fighters," "Chopped" and "24-Hour Restaurant Battle" and "Midnight Feast FYI," as well as being a judge on "Beat Bobby Flay."

She has also appeared at special events on behalf of Sam Adams Brewery, the Hangout Oyster Festival, the Mohegan Sun & Wine Fest and Monterey Cooking for Solutions, as well as landing spots for Ford, Hood and Walmart. A native of New England, Michele has run restaurants as an Executive Chef all over New England and in New York City. A native of Connecticut, she currently is Executive Chef at Central House in Provincetown and plans to open her own restaurant in New England in the near future. She is a graduate of Johnson & Wales College of Culinary Arts.




Chef Plum is a multiple-time winner on Food Network, making over 10 appearances with wins on "Chopped: Open Your Basket," "Guy's Grocery Games" and "America's Best Cook: Regional Championship." He's also been featured on ABC's "The Taste," Jamie Oliver's Foodtube, in the New York Times and on many national commercials and media outlets. His latest brainchild, the award-winning "Dinner Underground," has brought a series of pop-up restaurants to Connecticut; he's the first chef to ever host a pop-up inside the walls of mall kitchen giant Williams-Sonoma. His new show, "Random Acts of Cooking" debuts soon on OnlyGoodTV, and he hosts and produces TV shows in Connecticut and online. He also hosts the podcast "Plumluvfoods Live," a top 10 show in the food category on ITunes with over 175 episodes.
