Spend 40 delicious minutes exploring what happens when exceptional cheese meets world-class wine. Zoe Brickley of the award-winning Jasper Hill Farm will guide you through the story, science, and soul behind their acclaimed cheeses. Then, Sommelier Melissa Smith of Enotrias Elite Sommelier Services will take it to the next level—pairing each selection with wines that will surprise and delight your palate. Whether you're a cheese connoisseur, a wine lover, or just curious, this is one seminar you don’t want to miss.
Session Two, 6 p.m.:
"Washington Wines that Wow!" with Hedges Winery
Join winemaker Christophe Hedges of Hedges Winery for some banter and sipping on some killer Washington wines. Hedges was one of the first to recognize the raw potential of the Red Mountain AVA in Washington. Learn about the history of the region and their journey into organic and biodynamic certification, all while sampling some incredible wines—from powerful Cabs, Syrahs, and red blends to a lively, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. These wines are not to be missed!
Session Two, 7 p.m.:
"Master Chef & Master Somm, Part 2!" with Chef Kevin des Chenes and MS Robert Jones
Chef Kevin Des Chenes and Master Sommelier Robert Jones team up once again to wow your senses! In this engaging and flavorful seminar, you’ll dive into the ins and outs of food and wine pairing—what works, what doesn’t, and why. Sit back as these two talented pros share stories, strategies, and a few surprises, then let your palate do the real work as you experience pairings that highlight the fascinating art of balance, contrast, and harmony between dish and glass.
