A BWF tradition continues as we proudly present our annual series of winemaker dinners at the intimate "Butcher Room" table in the Hen of the Wood kitchen. This year, we're privileged to bring two accomplished winemaking women to Burlington to share their stories and pair their special bottles with unforgettable cuisine by chef Jordan Ware.

Thursday, June 20 – Emily Towe of J. Brix Wines spent years searching out the best vineyards throughout the Central Coast, Sierra Foothills and San Diego counties...and it was time well spent. She is producing seriously fun and exciting wines, ranging from Pet-nat’s, to skin-fermented Pinot Gris, Carignan and Cinsault.
Friday, June 21 – Laura Brennen of Inconnu wines is a powerhouse, one-woman show of winemaking. Focusing on vineyards in Contra Costa County and Clarksburg, her low-production, spontaneous fermentation, low sulfur approach has yielded some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Merlot, (yes, Merlot!) we've stumbled across.
